The average sales price average continues stay lower than the previous year. The average sales price is down 17% from January of 2007.

The Hernando County Real Estate Market Report on Resale homes closed in August of 2008.


During the month of August only 125 homes closed. This amount puts Hernando County monthly sales of existing homes to the second lowest since January of 2007. While the lowest has been January of this year which is traditionally a slow period. The market that had been showing signs of improving has slowed.
